The County Auditor shall mail a notice of the rural address number to each currently existing postal patron and shall acknowledge that the new rural number so assigned shall serve as the new permanent, legal address for the residence or business of said postal patron, effective October 1, 1991. The County Plan Commission Director shall serve as the administrator of the rural address numbering system, shall serve notice of assignment of new numbers to occupants after the initial notice by the Auditor, and shall be the county official to whom questions concerning the rural numbering system are to be directed.
