§ 92.08 PREVENTION OF INTIMIDATION IN FAIR HOUSING CASES.
   It is the policy of the county to provide fair housing throughout the corporate limits as provided under the Civil Rights Act of 1968, the federal Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and I.C. 22-9.5-1 et seq. and to protect the housing rights of persons from discrimination due to their race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin. Accordingly, no individual, whether or not acting under color of law, by force, or threat of force may injure, intimidate, or interfere with another individual’s right to exercise their lawfully protected freedom to engage in real estate transactions on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, disability, familial status, or national origin.
