The purpose of this article is to control and regulate the erection and maintenance of signs in the unincorporated portions of Ada County, in the interest of public safety, by: providing maximum visibility along highways, assuring unobstructed view at connecting roads and intersections, and preventing undue distraction of operators of motor vehicles, preventing confusion with respect to traffic lights, signs, or signals.
