531.03 CURFEW.
   (a)   No minor under the age of eighteen, unless accompanied by one or more of his parents, his guardian or other person having the care and custody of such minor, or while upon an emergency errand, or legitimate business, shall be or remain in or upon a sidewalk, street, highway, road, alley, public park or building, a place of amusement and entertainment, vacant lot or private property he is not entitled to be on, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 12:00 midnight to 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. However, minors who attend public school functions which do not terminate until after the hour of 10:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, shall be permitted thirty minutes from the time of termination of such function in which to return to their respective parent, parents, or guardian’s dwelling.
   (b)   Any person under the age of eighteen years violating this curfew may be charged in the Common Pleas Court of Hardin County, Ohio, Juvenile Court Division, as an “unruly child” as defined in Ohio R.C. 2151.022.
   (c)   No parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor shall knowingly permit such minor to be or remain in or upon a public street, sidewalk, highway, road, alley, public park or building, a place of amusement or entertainment, vacant lot or private property he is not entitled to be on between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Monday through Thursday, and midnight to 5:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
   (d)   Any adult violating any provision of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
