3-1-20: ADDITIONAL PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ACTS:
   A.   Public Intoxication: No person shall appear in a public place while intoxicated so that such person constitutes a nuisance or a threat to the health or safety of any person, including himself or herself.
   B.   Possession In Public: No person shall appear in a public place with possession of any alcoholic liquor except in the original container and with the seal unbroken, unless such person is on the premises of a licensee duly licensed under the provisions of this chapter, or in a public place designated and authorized by the city during a special event.
   C.   Consumption During Prohibited Hours: No person shall consume any alcoholic liquor on the premises of a licensee during the hours when liquor is prohibited from being sold. (2006 Code § 3-2-19)
   D.   Transporting Liquor: Except as provided in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-502(c), it shall be unlawful for any person to transport, carry, possess, or have any alcoholic liquor within any passenger area of any motor vehicle except in the original container and with the seal unbroken.
