A. The board shall have the powers and perform the duties assigned thereto under the provisions of 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/9-2-1 et seq., as such now exists or as may hereafter be amended. (2006 Code § 2-7-4-3)
B. The board is authorized and empowered to adopt rules and regulations governing the proceedings of the board, fixing the time of meetings of the board, and for public hearings of petitions and other matters as may come before the board. (2006 Code § 2-7-4-4)
