1-12-1: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
MUNICIPAL JUDGE: Police magistrate or police judge.
QUALIFIED MUNICIPAL COURT OF RECORD: A municipal court established by, and operating and conforming with, local ordinances containing provisions requiring the keeping of a verbatim record of the proceedings and evidence of trials by other electric devices or stenographic means, and requiring as a qualification for the office of judge of such court that he has been admitted to, and is currently licensed in, the practice of law in Colorado. (1997 Code § 2.44.010; amd. 2016 Code)
