A. Permit Required: No person shall construct a swimming pool or make any major alteration, addition, remodeling or other improvement to an existing swimming pool without having first obtained a signed permit therefor from the city building official.
B. Application For Permit: Application for such a permit shall be in writing on a form prescribed by the city building official and shall contain such information as shall be deemed by the official for a proper understanding of the proposed work.
C. Permit Fee: The fee for such a permit shall be ten dollars ($10.00).
D. Restrictions On Issuance: No permit shall issue unless the building official has determined that information and plans for the proposed construction, alteration, addition, remodeling or other improvement provides for compliance with all terms, conditions and restrictions imposed in this chapter.
