8-4-5: BARRICADES AND LIGHTS:
Every person making or causing to be made any excavation shall keep the excavation barricaded at all times and, between the hours of sunset and sunrise, he shall keep such excavation properly lighted so as to warn all persons thereof. (1997 Code § 12.16.050)
