5-3-2: CITY JURISDICTION:
   A.   A person is subject to prosecution by the city for an offense which that person commits, while either within or outside the city, by such person's own conduct or that of another for which that person is legally accountable, if the offense is committed either wholly or partly within the city.
   B.   An offense is committed partly within the city if either the conduct, which is an element of the offense, or the result, which is an element of the offense, occurs within the city.
   C.   An offense which is based on an omission to perform a duty imposed by an ordinance of the city is committed within the city regardless of the location of the offender at the time of the omission. (2006 Code § 6-2-1-2)
