3-4-3-1: LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   License Required: It shall be unlawful to establish, maintain or operate any mobile home park in the city without first having obtained a license. (2006 Code § 3-3-3)
   B.   Ineligibility For License:
      1.   No license shall be issued to any person who has been convicted of a felony, or to any partnership or corporation if any partner or officer thereof has been convicted of a felony.
      2.   No mobile home park shall employ any person as managing agent or to fill any other position placing such employee in charge of the mobile home park if such person has been convicted of a felony. (2006 Code § 3-3-9)
   C.   Application For License: Application for a license shall be made in writing to the city clerk on such form as established by the corporate authorities, and shall contain the name of the applicant, the location of the proposed park, the number of mobile homes to be accommodated, and proof of compliance with the zoning ordinances of the city.    D.   License Fee:
      1.   Fee Established: The annual fee for a license shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00), plus one dollar ($1.00) for each mobile home over five (5) for which accommodations are provided, due and payable each May 1. Whenever the number of mobile homes is increased, it shall be reported to the city clerk, and the additional fee, if any, necessitated by such increase shall be paid before any additional space is put to use.       2.   Proration Of Fee: When a license is granted or accommodations are increased during the license year, the fee shall be prorated on the basis of the number of months remaining in the license year. (2006 Code § 3-3-6)
   E.   License Year: The license year shall be from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. (2006 Code § 3-3-7; amd. 2016 Code)
   F.   Revocation Of License: Any licensee violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to revocation of his license previously issued hereunder. (2006 Code § 3-3-14)
