13.08.1050   Criminal penalties for certain violations.
   Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 13.08.900:
   A.   A discharger who willfully or negligently violates any provisions of this ordinance, a wastewater discharge permit, or order issued hereunder, or any other pretreatment standard or requirement shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine in at least the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per violation, per day, or subject to penalties in accordance with Section 1.12.010.    B.   A discharger who willfully or negligently introduces any substance into the POTW which causes personal injury or property damage shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor, and be subject to a penalty in at least the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per violation, per day or be subject to penalties in accordance with Section 1.12.010 This penalty shall be in addition to any other cause of action for personal injury or property damage available under state law.
