It is unlawful, for any person to fire or discharge, within the city limits of the city, any pistol, rifle or weapon of any type which may be powered by compressed air or CO2 gas, except in facilities specifically constructed as firing ranges which have been inspected and approved by the city building and police departments, and which have obtained all necessary city planning and building approvals.
