A. Discharge: Only approved consumer fireworks are allowed to be discharged inside the city limits. Furthermore, discharge of consumer fireworks shall be limited to the period of 9:00 a.m. on July 4th to 12:01 a.m. on July 5th, and between the hours of 6:00 p.m. on December 31 to 1:00 a.m. on January 1st.
B. Temporary Ban: During periods of extreme fire danger in which a fire emergency or burn ban has been declared to be in effect by the City of Milton Freewater Fire Chief, all discharge of fireworks shall be prohibited.
C. Agents for the City of Milton Freewater including the Fire Chief, Police Officers and Code Enforcement will be authorized to enforce this section and portion of the Code. (Ord. 995, 6-13-2022)
