Effective January 1, 2023 each Commissioner shall be paid $31,500 annually and effective January 1, 2025 the Mayor shall be paid $38,500. The annual salaries of the Mayor and each Commissioner shall be increased, pursuant to the provisions of KRS 83A.075, based on the change in the consumer price index as determined by the Department for Local Government up to the amount of the cost of living increase granted by the City in the current budget for classified employees. The increases of all subsequent years shall be included in the annual budget approved by the Board of Commissioners.
