§ 111.02 PERMIT REQUIRED.
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to organize, conduct or participate in any public assembly, parade, picket line or group demonstration in or on any street, sidewalk, alley or other public place within the town unless a special event permit therefor has been issued by the town in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, with the exception of the town in town-sponsored events unless a street closure is requested. Only civic, religious and non-profit organizations are eligible for permits; no individual will be granted a permit for individual or personal use. A recurring organized sporting event (such as an organized walking/running event) that does not require town services (including the closure of streets) may apply for all events within a six-month time span on one permit application with one permit fee per application.
